Pair of Howarth professional clarinets

I am selling my beloved Howarth clarinets which I purchased in 1993 from the Howarth's shop on Chiltern St. I had originally travelled to London with the intention of buying Buffet R13's but I tried the new Howarth ones and totally fell in love. The serial numbers are 15 and 16 so they are probably the eighth pair made by Howarths!

I used a German-sized mouthpiece by Nagamatsu Tagasaki (had to buy those slightly smaller reeds!) which gave a wonderfully dark and rich tone.

Sadly I do very little playing these days and it seems silly for them to sit in a cupboard when someone could be playing them. I've taken them back to Howarths to sell but they've been there for nearly a year so I thought I had better try to lower the asking price and advertise elsewhere.

Howarth did some repairwork on them so they are back in tip top condition. They are currently advertising them at £3500 but I'd be prepared to sell them for slightly less.

Sadly I don't have an up to date photo as they are currently in the Howarth's shop but I'd happily go and get them if there's interest.
