Pair of Boosey & Hawkes Emperor Clarinets Bb & A
I bought these new in the mid 1970's and have been the sole owner. All serial nos. match and the woodwork is free from splits. They have been carefully looked after but have seen very little use over the last 15 years. (Kept them as spare instruments) They are quite playable in the present state but would benefit from an overhaul. The double case shows the scuff marks of age but is still strong and serviceable. There is one 926 (lay 3) mouthpiece. That was the mouthpiece supplied with these instruments and will probably be best to replace. These were top of the range student instruments and saw me through advanced grades and my music degree. The Buffet equivalent would be the E13. The instruments would suit a player looking towards the advanced grades.
